Join the women of First Baptist Church as they grow in the grace and knowledge of the Lord and think through practical applications to everyday life. Keep an eye on our events page for upcoming events for the women of First Baptist Church.

Sisters started because of a burden God laid on our hearts to no longer stand by and do nothing, while people around us are hurting and in need. We meet monthly between October and April. Our events include food, fun, fellowship and most importantly ministry projects. Our goal is to share God’s unconditional love for those in need and His message of hope and salvation. Our projects have taken us across the street to reaching around the world.

On April 26, 2011, Sisters began posting daily devotions on Facebook; to encourage women from God’s word. The site has grown from just a few local women to now having 218 members from 8 different states and 3 different nations.

We host annual bible studies (for women). The studies usually include a 6-10 week studies and are usually held during January or February. We also plan annual outings to retreats, conferences & seminar.

Hebrews 4:16 (NKJV) – “Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.”
